Precision Products (Cumberland) Ltd.

Precision Products has made high quality castings from its workshops and foundry in Alston, Cumbria, England, for over 50 years.

An independent, private limited company, Precision Products has proudly earned a world - wide reputation for the production of castings using Shaw Process block moulds.

Now internationally recognized, the Shaw Process originated in the North of England and was first developed on a commercial basis by Precision Products.

Although the company still retains several of its original clients, such as Babcock Energy Ltd and CMB Engineering Group plc, it has expanded and diversified over the years and now is one of the leading producers of shrouded pump impellers for the UK and international market. From its own R&D resources it has also pioneered the ECOShaw process, a development which enables contoured ceramic moulds to be made with significant savings in materials.
